TalkMoney Customer Terms
Version: 21 September 2026 - Version 2
TalkMoney is a digital learning, commerce and entrepreneurial community operated through its disclosed legal entity. These Terms govern every customer account. Nothing in them removes a right that applicable law does not permit TalkMoney to exclude.
1. Eligibility and account
You must have legal capacity to enter a contract and provide accurate registration information. Every person may hold only one account and is responsible for protecting login credentials and reporting suspected unauthorised use. TalkMoney may require reasonable identity or transaction verification.
2. One identity across the ecosystem
Your customer identity may be used across participating TalkMoney services, including the dashboard, marketplace and community. Access to a feature may depend on availability, eligibility or separate product terms. An optional Affiliate upgrade uses the same identity; it does not create a second account.
3. Original referral attribution
If you register through a valid Affiliate referral link or code, that Affiliate is recorded as your original referrer. The attribution remains if you later upgrade. A direct registration without a valid code is attributed to TalkMoney Direct Admin. Attribution may be corrected only for a verified technical error, fraud, duplicate identity or legal requirement, with an audit record. Self-referrals and referral manipulation are prohibited.
4. Products, services and information
TalkMoney will identify the material product or service description, price, delivery method and applicable conditions before payment. Educational content is general information and does not guarantee employment, income, profit, investment return or business success. Product availability and third-party services may change.
5. Payments and transaction records
Payment is for an identified product or service and is not a deposit, investment, savings contribution or promise of return. Access, fulfilment or project work begins only after the required payment is cleared and verified. TalkMoney will maintain a transaction record and may use an approved payment processor subject to that provider's terms.
6. Cancellations, refunds and remedies
Digital products are generally final after download, access or substantial delivery where they match their description and function as represented. This does not remove a mandatory remedy for duplicate payment, non-delivery, material defect, material misdescription, unauthorised transaction or another circumstance protected by law. Physical goods, solar products, instalments and services are governed by the published Refund Policy and order-specific terms. Refund requests are assessed and recorded through the authorised manual review process.
7. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the platform, interfere with security, infringe intellectual property, submit unlawful content, harass another person, conduct fraud, create duplicate accounts or use TalkMoney to promote an unlicensed investment, unlawful scheme or prohibited transaction.
8. Intellectual property and licences
TalkMoney and its licensors retain ownership of platform content, branding and materials. A purchase gives only the licence expressly stated for that product. Unless written permission is given, content may not be copied, resold, redistributed, published or used to train another commercial system.
9. Privacy and communications
Personal data is handled under the Privacy Policy. TalkMoney may send operational and transactional communications needed to perform the agreement. Optional marketing consent is separate and may be withdrawn. Referral, acceptance, transaction, fraud-prevention and complaint records may be retained for lawful operational, accounting and dispute purposes.
10. Availability, incidents and recovery
TalkMoney uses reasonable operational and security measures but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. Maintenance, connectivity failure, provider failure, cyberattack, disaster or another event outside reasonable control may interrupt service. TalkMoney will make reasonable efforts to investigate, contain the incident, preserve available records, restore service and reconcile verified transactions.
11. Responsibility and limitation
To the extent permitted by law, TalkMoney is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss caused solely by an event outside its reasonable control or by a user's unlawful or unauthorised conduct. TalkMoney does not exclude liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, misuse of funds, negligence where exclusion is unlawful, failure to provide a lawful remedy for an undelivered paid obligation or another liability that law does not permit it to exclude.
12. Suspension and termination
TalkMoney may reasonably restrict or terminate access for fraud, abuse, unlawful activity, security risk or material breach. A restriction does not automatically erase valid paid rights, lawful refunds or verified obligations. The user may request account closure subject to lawful record retention.
13. Complaints, governing law and changes
Complaints should be sent to Talkmoneysupport@gmail.com with relevant transaction details. TalkMoney will document and review the complaint before either party uses any remedy available under Nigerian law. Material changes apply prospectively after reasonable notice, except where an urgent legal or security change is required.
